About the Competition

The Vermont Bartender of the Year Competition is a multiple round contest planned annually by the Vermont Chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild, with the goal of showcasing the unique talent and passion of Vermont hospitality professionals. Competitors are tested on both their knowledge and service skills thru a series of exams and in person competitions featuring Vermont Beer, Wine, and Spirits. The events are sponsored by Vermont producers and non-producers alike. The winner is recognized at the Vermont Tourism Summit Awards presentation.
